Sturgeon at the Rouse Simmons

This one-of-a-kind oil painting depicts a sturgeon in front of the famous "Christmas Tree Ship" which sank in Lake Michigan. The Rouse Simmons would deliver Christmas trees to Chicago from Michigan until it sank during a storm in 1912.  Now I imagine it's the go-to spot for fish during the holidays.
